My friend’s start up clothing company!
Today, one of my friends at church/school got engaged to his girlfriend today. I actually saw them together while I was on the way to a sushi restaurant with a friend. He’s graduating this spring.. Pretty crazy. Don’t know him that well but still that could be someone in my friend group only a couple of years down the road.
Red Sox-Yankees game tomorrow (or later today). Fenway Park’s exact 100th anniversary of its opening, against its most hated rival. They’re doing pregame celebrations, wearing old school uniforms, inviting all former Sox players… Going to be crazy. Paid a buttload for the ticket but a stadium that lasts for a hundred years only comes once every so often.
Going home the coming Thursday. Can’t believe my freshman year in college is already over
Anonymous asked: 5 biggest pet peeves?
In no particular order… And I’m only writing so much because I have midterms next week so I gotta stay in and get work done :’((.
1. When people connect tumblr and twitter to their facebook and make a million tweets a day. I don’t mind if you just keep it all on twitter but seeing your tweets pop up on facebook and twitter just makes it that much more annoying. I’ve always thought that tweets were facebook statuses you would never make. I could care less that you were at a coffeeshop and then went to go eat a friend’s house an hour later..
2. Posting drunk pictures and drunk texting. You think you’re hella hardcore, when in reality the vast majority of college students drink and party. You’re not the only ones that get wasted on the weekends. Also, if you were really shitfaced, taking photos of yourself is the probably one of the last things that would cross your mind. And posting them on facebook and saying “yolo” half the time… smh haha. And drunk texting.. just stupid from the start.
3. Overly excessive liberals. My school originally planned to have Chick-fil-A on campus soon, but that got ruined because of the LGBT and liberal communities that protested Chick-fil-A was a Christian company that promoted against gay rights and it would go against their ideals. People these days just need to sack up. Chick-fil-A does not go against your rights. Just let me enjoy my chicken. And all those protests against the rich and large businesses… When the top 10% income earners pay 71% of the federal income taxes (and in California the top 3% pay 60%), I think they should decide (and know) what’s best.
4. Wannabe cigarette smokers. Killing your lungs and wasting money for the sake of looking cool. And when you try to peer pressure you friends into smoking cigarettes, I know you aren’t addicted to them at all. No sane smoker is going to give away free cigarettes just like that, or let his friends get addicted to them because he knows the cost of it himself.
5. Tim Tebow. Unfortunately, the worst possible thing happened to him… He’s in New York now. That guarantees an article about him at least twice a day.. fml.
